About the event

In Stitches comedy  presents: The Big Christmas Comedy show at the Killester Club

A big fun way to end the year will a fantastic comedy show in the local club! on the night we will have some incredible acts and  Music after!

Acts

- Emma Doran

Emma’s jealously of Billy Barry kids came to a boiling point 10 years ago when she decided to do her first stand up gig at the Ha’penny Bridge Inn. It was love/obsession after that first 7 minute set to 20 odd people and she hasn’t stop since only to give birth ocassionally.

Most recently Emma was part of the fab five that made up RTE sketch show No Worries If Not. Emma confirmed her spot on the national broadcaster after achieving huge success with her online comedy sketches. Never forgetting about her stand up roots though she she’s been always been gigging non stop and has performed at some of the countries biggest venues like 3 Arena ( and some of its smallest roughest ones too tbf). After 2 sell out shows in Liberty Hall in 2022 in a couple of days with her show Mad Isn’t It Emma set on chasing those big venues as a headliner (well Vicar street anyway). “2003 saw Emma’s first nationwide tour with 3 nights in Vicar and 2 nights in Soho Theatre, London.

As a regular on televison series like Republic of Telly, Bridget and Eamonn and Callan Kicks over the years Emma has even popped up in Amazon Prime’s series Modern Love in 2022 alongside Kit Harrington.

She’s also been a regular TV and radio contributor on shows like Clear History and if audio is more your thing she has podcast- with her daughter called You’re Grounded.

Not bad for a girl who had a baby during her Leaving Cert, eh?

And she’s not finished yet

Other reasons you might recognise Emma- The Late Late Show in 2022 when she told Ryan Tubridy about the silent ride. Celebrity Ireland’s fittest family when Glenda Gilson tried to drown her, Celebrity Gogglebox 2023 or maybe her instagram and all the videos she films on her cracked samsung phone

2004- hold on tight because there’s a new, tour, Amazon Prime TV show and a book coming! And maybe a joint 21st with her daughter Ella

  • Craig Moran

Craig is Irish Comedian that started doing stand up late in life at 27, once he began, he never looked back. He is a regular at all the major comedy clubs in Ireland, gigging with the best acts and playing to large international audiences. Craig is co-founder of institches where he can be seen regularly performing and Mcing, 7 nights a week.

Craig is an Anecdotal comedian, telling hilarious stories with act outs that'll have you bursting with laughter! Growing up as the middle child in the family, being the class clown & always wanting to be the center of attention making him perfect for stand up!

  • Rob Norther

Rob Nother is a fresh face to the Dublin Comedy circuit. Having briefly started pre-covid he jumped right back in when things began to open back up. His style (much like who he is) is something he’s still figuring out but can best be described as “weird”

(Lineups Subject To Change)

Hosted by our compère:

Craig Moran

is Irish Comedian that started doing stand up late in life. He was the funny kid in a family of seven, he was the class clown in school and was always the funny friend  his circle. All of this prepared him to do stand up comedy when he finally quit his bar management job and persued his dreams of being a comedian.

Craig is a regular in all the major comedy clubs in Ireland, gigging with some of the best acts the country. On stage he is ridiculous, silly and has a lot of energy when he tells stories or he gets into a bit. He also hosts weekly Quiz and Bingo events in the city centre.

Emman Idama

Emman is a strong name in the Irish Comedy seen, nominated for Irish Comedian Of The Year 2020 & 2021, Chortle Finalist 2019, and many other more awards, he has open for some of the big names in comedy and sports like Seann Walsh, Eric Cantona and more.

'Emman Idama is a more effervescent source of energy, just the thing to keep the spirits up. Idama establishes himself as a warm, charming and thoroughly engaging performer.' - Chortle
