• David Ward

David Ward is in demand as both an MC and headliner in stand up comedy clubs across the UK and Europe. He has supported a number of major TV stand up comedians on tour, including Lee Hurst and Tom Stade.

He is also in demand for his TV warm up work and has performed for the troops in Kuwait and the UAE. His spontaneity made him the choice host for the heats of the BBC’s New Comedy Awards and Channel 5’s So You Think You’re Funny?.

David’s Edinburgh Festival show ‘The Whole Truth and Nothing But…’ was performed to great acclaim, proving his skills as a writer, storyteller and actor in addition to his stand up skills.

Ben has been writing and performing comedy for a decade, cultivating a “clever, acerbic wit” (The Skinny) which is “economical, original and charmingly perceptive” (Three Weeks) with “sharp writing… dry, beautifully timed” (The Scotsman) and is “enjoyably naughty” (Chortle).

He has shared the stage with names like Dylan Moran, Frankie Boyle, Jo Caulfield, Kevin Bridges, Tom Stade and Romesh Ranganathan, and regularly gigs as an act or compere all over the UK.

TV work includes BBC Scotland’s Scot Squad and The Karen Dunbar Show, and being a regular guest on STV’s The Late Show.

Ben is co-founder of Edinburgh’s Monkey Barrel Comedy Club, which won Best Comedy Club at the Scottish Comedy Awards in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

All ticket prices shown is excluding VAT or Booking Fees.

Refund Policy: All bookings are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The only exception to this policy is if the event you have booked for is cancelled by In Stitches Comedy, or in a Force Majeure occurrence such as government restrictions on live events.
