About the event
In Stitches Comedy Club at The Workman's Cellar:
In Stitches Gong Show, aspiring comedians and funny individuals get the opportunity to perform their stand-up routines, sketches, or other comedic acts in front of an audience and a panel of judges. The judges have the power to "gong" a performer off the stage if they find the act unfunny or not up to par.
The show is meant to be entertaining and often features a mix of talented comedians, as well as some intentionally quirky or unconventional performers. The gong itself is a comedic prop, and when a performer gets gonged off the stage, it's typically done in a humorous and light-hearted manner.
The goal for the performers is to impress audience with their humor and last 5min on our stage, wit, and originality to avoid being gonged. If a performer manages to avoid getting gonged, they may advance to the next round or win the competition, depending on the show's format.
Lineup is subject to change:

-Â Â Craig Moran
is Irish Comedian that started doing stand up late in life. He was the funny kid in a family of seven, he was the class clown in school and was always the funny friend his circle. All of this prepared him to do stand up comedy when he finally quit his bar management job and pursued his dreams of being a comedian.
Craig is a regular in all the major comedy clubs in Ireland, gigging with some of the best acts in the country. On stage he is ridiculous, silly and has a lot of energy when he tells stories or he gets into a bit. He also hosts weekly Quiz and Bingo events in the city center.
